The track on the former ammunition depot in East Westphalia
Bilster Berg is a modern motorsport racetrack in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The 4.2 km long track was opened in 2013 on a former ammunition depot and offers a challenging layout with 19 turns, significant differences in altitude and a maximum gradient of 21%. It is particularly popular with car manufacturers, test drivers and track day enthusiasts as it offers an intense driving experience and optimum testing conditions. In addition to racing and test drives, Bilster Berg also serves as an event and presentation location for companies.
Kugelkopf
The finishing straight rises towards the end and makes a slight curve to the left, which makes braking into Turn 1 a particular challenge.
Mausefalle
Probably the most famous curve on the Bilster Berg. The gradient of about 26% demands everything from the vehicle and the driver.
Clubhaus-S
The Clubhouse-S is a very fluid chicane with a small gradient. If you hit the corner cleanly, you can take a lot of momentum onto the following straight.
