Autodromo Vallelunga

The Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi is located only 40 kilometers away from Rome, the capital of Italy. The course, named after Formula 1 pilot Piero Taruffi, originated in the early 1950s from a former horse racecourse. In 1951, a first car race took place here – at that time on sandy ground. In 1957, the course was finally asphalted and thus converted into a true racetrack for automobiles. The 4-kilometer course with its long straight passages and its exciting curves offers a maximum level of fun. At the same time, a very high safety standard is reached through the run-off areas. Vallelunga has been used as a test course since the homologation by the FIA in 2004 by many Formula One teams, including Ferrari and Williams. Furthermore, globally recognized racing series such as the WTCC, the European Le Mans Series, the FIA GT and Formula Superstars take place here. Experience this technically challenging racetrack with your own car during the Pistenclub Trackday Vallelunga.
